GanadoX is the bridge between buyer and seller — we don't handle money, transport, or contracts. That means your safety depends on how you handle each conversation. These are the patterns we see in every scam and how to avoid them.

Most common scam patterns

  • They ask for a "holding deposit"

    The #1 scam. The supposed seller says many buyers are interested and asks for $200K or $500K to "hold" the lot for you. The moment you pay, they vanish. Never pay before seeing the animal in person.

  • Price too good to be true

    If the price is 30%+ below market, it's almost always a scam. Compare with similar GanadoX listings before contacting the seller. Urgency ("sells today or it goes to the slaughterhouse") is a red flag.

  • They want to take you off GanadoX chat

    They ask for your WhatsApp or phone "to coordinate better." In GanadoX chat every message is logged for reports. Outside there's nothing — and outside is where you get robbed. Keep the conversation inside until you've met in person.

  • Messages impersonating GanadoX

    No GanadoX employee will ever ask for money, passwords, or transfers via WhatsApp. If you get a message claiming to be from "GanadoX support" asking you to pay anything, it's a scam. Report it to AG@ganadox.ai.

  • Meetings in isolated locations

    Visit the seller's farm when possible or meet in a public place with witnesses. Don't go alone to remote spots to make cash payments. Bring company. Tell someone where you're going and when you'll be back.

  • Unverified accounts

    Look for the green verification badge next to the seller's name. Identity verified means GanadoX reviewed their cédula and selfie video. Not a guarantee against everything, but the first filter against fake 30-second accounts.

Before closing a purchase

  • 1Inspect the animal in person. Never close blind, even with photos / live video.
  • 2Ask to see the seller's cédula and compare the name with the green badge on GanadoX.
  • 3Ask for the animal's paperwork: BPP, sanitary certificates, vaccinations, registered brand.
  • 4Document the transaction with a simple contract: buyer, seller, animals, price, date, signatures.
  • 5Pay only when the animal is physically present, both parties have signed, and the paperwork is in order.
